My dad had 2 fuel tanks on his farm, one for gas, and one for farm diesel. The gas is for our mower, vhis vehicles, and of course, older tractors. The diesel is for our newer tractors, combine, etc. We get the gas filled a few times a year and the diesel filled 2-3 times a year. But for the winter, we get winter diesel. I dont know exactly what is different, but i do know that there are different additives that help the engine.
