I've done this maneuver, and it worked with my Super C. It would not work with an AC WD because the clutch wasn't strong enough to lift the tractor. I don't know an MF would be. Only do this going forward. If you try to do it in reverse, it will be like trying to start a tractor by popping the clutch in reverse. You'll flip over backwards. Having the front buried is like an anchor. Put an old door under it to spread(float) the load, and jack the front out of the ground. Or you could hire a backhoe. When you get the tractor out, keep digging, you're halfway to a nice pond. Or make friends with somebody with a really big tractor. But before you do anything, take a picture. It sounds like you're a finalist in the "worst I've ever been stuck" competition. Good Luck, and let us know how you got out.
