Your assumption about the intake and pressurized outflow lines' diameters is correct. I was unable to disconnect the pressurized intake line and route it into the tank because the threads were frozen solid and the assembly is too fragile to apply sufficient torque to free it. However, I did bypass the filter on the return line and routed it into the tank. Running the pump with this configuration did not noticeably reduce the vibration. The flow through the return line was not impeded and ran smoothly. That was the best I could do. Am I assuming correctly that you are wondering if the control valves/levers for the various rams are not allowing enough fluid to pass by and return to the tank when not operating a cylinder that the pump is thus encountering too much resistance and thus pressure and therefore vibrating? I was able to remove some vibration by wrapping a towel around the drawbar where I have a chain attached from the pump around the drawbar to control its twisting. The problem is dissipating and sounding closer to normal, but is not quite there yet. Another thing I should mention is in regard to the comment made by the gentleman with the backhoe. Currently, my pto shaft only goes two of six total inches into the pump. I haven't had a chance yet to get an extension to run through the full length of the pump. Would this be a possible cause for the vibration? Thanks for your help. I will wait for your response.
