You say it does nothing. It doesn't hum, get hot, dim the lights,
nothing? Or do you mean it doesn't spin, nothing? If it really does nothing then either there's a broken connection,
another thermal fuse or a burned winding. Try measuring for
voltage right at the terminals in the motor case.
