There are a couple types of 12v coils sold for the front mount N tractors. One kind like about .47 ohms of extra resistance. The other type likes the OEM ballast resistor ( or a 8ne10306 dropping resistor ) but not both. You can always just use the oem 6v coil and the ballast resistor and the dropping resistor i mentioned and it will run fine. Soundguy
