I believe you, but I don't understand something. What controls the height of cut? In other words, why can I maintain a higher height of cut with a rotary than with a finish mower. The 3pt setup looks the same to me for both mowers, so it would seem to me that the only difference between the finish mower and hog would be the fineness of the cut.
