Ok....Ok I thought I was buying a Ford tractor. How little did I know at the time that it was in fact made in Japan. Not that it changes the fact that the tractor is working very nicely for me and that I have no complaints...but I have to admit that when I got my CT catalog today and the only part in the whole catalog that fit my tractor was a canopy...well I did feel a little left out. So I guess the solution is to find a good buy on an 8N..ideally with the half tracks...for a nice American Restoration. Hey...is it us boomers faults that the generation that saved the world for democracy bought televisions for their kids instead of teachin' em to change oil. So now we have to learn how to do it from books...and the internet :-) If you old timers would only have kept a few more jewels in the barn instead of in the weeds us boomers would sure have had an easier time of it....and...now this one really iritates me....if you old guys thought you knew so much that you could throw away the manuals...well ya should have told somebody what it was you knew!!!! Boomers can be curmudgeons too :-) Still havin fun in a world I never knew existed Kim
