from what i have seen, the japenese build a very good, reliable tractor. maybe it's pride in workmanship or just wanting to stay in business. I think all american manufactures contract to the japenese to build the under 40 hp line of farm machinery. I own a compact 28 hp tractor of japenese origin with an american name on it. so far it has been a very reliable tractor.
