Called a local "high end" grocery store to see if they are intersted in some of this awsome fresh corn. The produce manager guys say "Wehave planty". I asked where they get it from, he says" From our ware house", we get a semi load at a time and store it there. OK this is a "high end" store, not a high volume store. So I asked the guy how the heck can you pull that off when you advertise it as picked fresh locally grown sweetcorn. Picked fresh means picked this morning, yesterday at the earliest. I try to pick what I need to deliver for the day as soon as the sun comes up, I soak it down with cold well water and keep it in a cool room 60 deg, till I can deliver it THAT day. Anything that is over 24 hours picked I tell them and sell it for less. Funny , I had so much to get rid of that was maturing, getting worried, now I am getting more and more calls just from word of mouth that I should be able to get rid of it all. I hope the farmers markets continue to grow in popularity, cause people are really missing out on the quality of fresh produce at some of these fancy grocery stores. Fibbers , I tell ya!

Restoration Story: 1951 Farmall H - by The Red (John Fritz). I have been a collector of Farmall tractors since 1990 when I first obtained part of the family farm in Eastern Indiana. My current collection includes a 1938 F20, 1945 H, 1946 H, and the recently purchased 1951 H. This article will focus on what I encountered and what I did to bring the 1951 NEAR DEATH Farmall H back to life.
