Melroe Bobcat.. Motor replacement, steering clutches

Just picked up a Bobcat Skidsteer, model 555 I think. The Onan motor is kinda tired. What is the hot setup for repair/replacement? Wondering if it would be worth seeking a larger HP motor instead of rebuilding the air cooled 16 HP that is on it now.
Does anyone know what the procedure for adjusting the clutches is? It is a little hesitant to do any serious turning... It also isn't the best at pushing.
Any other suggestions for a new Bobcat owner? Supposedly I have factory manuals on the way but nothing beats experience... It is definitely a different machine than my old Ford tractor and loader.. I really like the manueverability!
