I've read a lot of discussions on here concernin' Synthetic Oil. My 1998GMC Z71 has 109012 actual miles.Changein' oil at 3000 miles, it doesn't use any. On the advice of a couple of mechanic friends, I'm changein' to Mobile 1, 10w30 Synthetic. Question is....do I still change every 3000 miles or can You go longer between changes without engine damage...If so, at what mileage do You change? If You can go longer betwen changes, do You just change the filter? Thanks, Bill Caldwell
