Scott, Before you take Hoof & Mouth Disease And you speak on a subject you know nothing about. I got my info from a local rancher who does run Red Dsl in his 2000 GM 4x4 pickup 97K miles all on red fuel. He had it in the local GM shop where he trades , for pump work, the guys there informed him that in the new Pickups he would not be able to do this. Scott, YOU be brave and run Red Dsl in your truck and let us know what happens! The electonics othe truck will cause it to run a standby or idle mode, till the Red higher Sulfur content fuel is removed. Not to mention the Red dye residue left in the fuel system that will still give a swab test a positive reading for a long time after the fuel is removed. That Dye will stain the iside of the system, tank, lines, pump, etc. Dealership told my neighbor for his truck to pass a test the entire fuel system would have to be replaced, everything! Later, John A.
