First of all, sorry to hear of the loss. We lost the best mouser cat we ever had about a year ago, found him dead in the grader ditch where he often did catch mice. Wouldn't have bothered me so much if he had been dead on the road, but when the car tracks go down into the ditch, it was an intentional kill. Never will understand the perverse pleasure some people get killing domestic animals. I am a NRA member, and have no issue with controlling preditors like coyotes or pests like opossums and coons.I also believe deer season should be longer along with we should have deer rifle instead of just bow and shotgun, etc. But, getting off topic of cat, the cat we have now goes in and out of the garage at her leisure, leave the door up just enough for it to get in and out.
