Gentlemen, I need some information regarding Ford tractors that were in production in the early 50's. I have a desire to purchase a tractor just like the one my Dad put me on when I was a young boy. I can't ask Dad what kind it was for he is no longer with us. My father purchased the farm in 1951 and Mom sold the farm in the early 60's. I recently bought the property and built a home at the old homeplace. The tractor that I remember had a round ornament of some sort on the hood. I was so small that I would sight down the hood ornament to a distant object so that I would go in a straight line. What model of tractor was that. If you can give me some Model numbers then I can go looking and hopefully remember it if I see one. Thank you, have a great day
