The 850 is a 1989 model. The original clutch operated as any other clutch, fairly smooth. When I had it replaced the JD dealer said all replacement clutches are ceramic because the original clutches did not hold up. Point taken. But a 25hp tractor doesn't have much power and if you have to idle down in order to take off smoothly the tractor stalls out. It has to be at about half throttle to take off and the front end, even with a bucket, will jump off the ground. So you can see it is a death trap. Is there any way to adjust the clutch to get some relief, even at the risk of wearing out the clutch? Thanks.
