I'm out of town until tomorrow night. I'll crack the manual on it and post back, but not today. Manual's at home. Nope, I'd say something aint right with what you describe. Did it do what you're saying while was at the dealer? I mean, did they actually see it doing that? I'm sure they don't want to eat the cost of splitting it again, but... Did they replace or machine the flywheel and pressure plate so aren't chewed up on their faces?
I'll look at the manual and see what it says you can or can't do, and if is something and it works, great. If not, I'd invite the Deere guy over and tell him to give it a whirl, then ask how supposed to use that without wrecking or killing something or someone.
