I should take a picture of it and send it to somebody that has figured out how to post images. The cylinder part blew off the baseplate/pump assembly. There is a part line of approx 3/8" of metal failed all the way around the base. It was an 8 ton Princess Auto long stroke jack. Either there was no relief valve or the valve failed closed. There was likely more than 8 tons of force springing the plough frame and hitch bar when it blew. There was a lot of energy released in a hurry.
