Took my 03 dodge diesel to dodge dealer for free oil change. while it was on the rack, they called me in and told me the waterpump was leaking. I could not see pump from underneath. They also told me thermostat gasket was leaking. they could do work right now and estimate was $590. Told them due to money problems I would have to wait a while. Got home and called Napa and new waterpump was $48. When I raised the hood and looked, the pump was over to one side held on with only 2 bolts. Didn't even have to remove fan. I changed everything in about 1.5 hours. cost approx. $125. I called dodge parts dept. and was told new pump was $318.
