heres some pics of our little chopping operation.
The chopper is an 8730 CIH(built by Hesston).With 3 row hesston head.Thats a jiffy hydump wagon(i know.. it needs a new roof) Pulling it is my 4230 turbo (Combine engine) rescued that tractor from a salvage yard, the things people throw away! We usually use the 2590 Case on the chopper but it is in shop awaiting bearings for the pto.
The truck is just an old 69 ford that has been doing this for 30+ years and seams to be indestructable. We push up with our 1270 Case(sorry no pics of that). and Finally we pack with my 2470.
were currently on downtime because of snow/rain in swnd. if the truck cant get around we cant chop, im hoping for a dry spell. hope you all enjoy the pics. Have a good day.
