Hey friends My wife and I are headed up to Moline this weekend(Thu-Sun). I have an interview with JD on Friday for a summer internship next year and I have never been to IL. I have heard about a restaurant called the "Machine Shed", is that place any good? Im just a good ole Texas boy and I love good food. My wife and I always try to eat at local favorites not the run of the mill nationwide chains. I plan on spending most of Saturday at the pavillion and so on. I was hoping to drive into IA and see some wet harvest action but I think all I will see is wet. Please please give me all the pointers you can as to where to go and where not to. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
