I know lots of people here are farmers and have a lot to deal with.Also in agriculture areas there is a dependence on everybody working with everybody else so that life goes on.Its been for a long time now an outside influence that is dragging agriculture down into a hole that it cant dig its way out of.The stock market.
Driving a truck over the United States in the 1990s and early 2000s I saw how things were changing.People on small acreages were going and big acreage places taking over.Small livestock producers being replaced by big livestock producers.I live in Missouri.In my county the farmers are bigger and bigger but about 60 miles South there are lots of places that have a few cows or hogs maybe and smaller farms.What is the future of these small farm areas everywhere?Plus its about 20 years too late because there is not even any place safe from big operators.I see a couple of ranches down there that have registered cattle.Nothing wrong with that,but for an area with a fragile economy like that,I dont see small towns making it.When even small towns are scarce,then getting scarcer,it makes a place thats hard to live in even harder.Western Kansas has nothing for miles and miles.It may always have been bad,but now its way worse.Driving across I thought who would even want to live here?If you cut yourself you would bleed to death before you got anywhere close to a doctor.A lot of times people from Kansa seem to have a view that supports this happening.Im am certain its the folks that went off to college and were brainwashed with this rubbish because I have hadrelatives in Kansas and know about it and the working people dont like it.A right to work state.All of them are corrupt.If you live in a city,or you are rich,then you dont think like somebody that probably doesnt even have a computer to express their opinion on.I see why its this way,but it doesnt make it good or right.Going to school and coming back a brainwashed helper of the liars is not a good thing either.
Wal mart is one thing but there is nobody living out there to support a town that needs more money to keep the doors open for less customers.This is America too. Anyway these people that live in small towns which were supported by agriculture are just as much Americans if not more than a bunch of paper pushers in Chicago.
Also,we dont need to have a Revolution to change things.We just need to throw all of the jerks out that caused all of this.There are 300 million of us and less than 1000 Federal politicians.The Stock Market is doing it.The politicians wont fix it because the paper pushers have them bought.For things to get better we need to make the Politicians and paper pushers know they have to work for the farmers,not against them.
There is the truth.Now nobody is going to do anything about it.Maybe 1 tenth of one percent.The rest will believe every other lie the crooks put out.I dont see how anything gets fixed.
In years past if you didnt like things you could vote the crooks out.Especially at home.Now its across the board crooks.They are entrenched now.They have things so bad that normal people dont want anything to do with public office.Being acquainted with the crooks rubs off on good people and they can make way more money by not messing with the crooks.But even in a small town of 50,there are more people than politicians.We have to hold their feet to the fire hard,and if it doesnt work get rid of them.If they are real bad recall them or something.They work for us,its time to see that they do.Otherwise whats in store for the future is worse and worse.
The stock market needs fixed.There are plenty of other things wrong but that has to happen.We need limits and measures imposed on the stock market and if that doesnt fix it,even harsher laws until it does fix it.There is no other way except close it and start a new one with reasonable people.
It doesnt much matter any more which side they claim to be on,all politicians are corrupt.Some are worse than others but all of them are selling their vote.They are representing money not people in their district.That has to stop.I dont care what any excuse anybody tries to make for it is,thats the truth and thats what needs to be fixed.If everybody listens to the people who get a paycheck for lying and stays arguing with anybody that tries to reason out whats wrong,nothing will ever get done.Its obvious now thats the plan.Keep you fighting each other and they get away with treason.
I can think of at least 10 more things to rant about,I figured this was the most important one to see what people said.It does relate to tractors and a lot of other things connected to agriculture.The future of bigger and bigger farmers does not even make sense.It was wrong in the beginning and its worse now.In order for it to level out there has to be smaller farms and better prices for commodities and regulation to keep it that way.Farmers need to make a living on what they produce and should not have to buy million dollar equipment that takes thousands of acres to make the payments on it.
