I bought a used truck last year that had brand new tires from Canadian Tire on it. One tire got a screw in the sidewall and I had to replace it. I was told at that time, that the tire itself wasn't warrantee but because the tires are exclusive to Canadian tire, rotation and flat repairs are still covered. I needed a tire repaired this morning. I called at 8:20 and asked if they were busy as I had an appointment downtown at 10 am. I was told they could have it repaired well before 10 so I drove there to get it repaired. Not only wouldn't they honour any warrantee for a repair, I didn't get the truck back until 9:50 and had to cancel my appointment. They said they only had one guy that did tires and oil changes. Why didn't they tell me that they only had one guy and why does the warrantee policy seem to change to suit them??? I could have gone to another tire shop or got the tire fixed after my appointment. It was only a slow leak. I will never go back there for any kind of work what so ever. I'd rather have someone tell me they're busy than say they can do something quick and then take a lot longer. I think the guy fixing the tire was almost done and then took a coffee break at 9:30 instead of driving the truck outside. He was in the process of putting the lug nuts on. There was another customer that was really ticked off with them as well. Dave

Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
