Just need to say some things

I have been asking some questions about Cubs as I am needing a small tractor for mowing and gardening/light duty work. I am asking these questions so I can make a wise purchase, and not buy something that either won't do what I need it to, or not be big enough.I ALREADY HAVE AN H,and don't want to modify it because I am going to restore it in summer 2001.I appreciate all the responses that answer the questions I posted, however, it kind of burns me when people respond with criticizing comments, *get an H* *don't make it something it's not* *it's beyond me why* etc. This board is to help people, not judge them,or crack on the questions they ask. People want to know if things, or ideas will work,or cause more problems. Let's try to help them out ,and not send them judgemental responses!

Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
