350 drawbar vs. 3 point

I love my old 350 for puttering around my little acreage and pretending I know what I'm doing. It has an add-on 3 point, but still also has the drawbar. Any reason to leave the drawbar on? I have a blade on the 3pt and have to take the thing off to spin it around. Is it easy enough to take the drawbar off? Also, the added 3pt cylinder looks like it could take another line. Could I hook it up to provide downforce on the 3 pt.? It could put some ugly torque on implements I guess. Go Red!
