Can you explain more? With the engine running and the clutch depressed, does the engine bog down? Or is it just when you let out the clutch? Does the tractor move at all? If it just bogs down when you let out the clutch, and does not move, then it is very possible that it is stuck between two gears. All Cubs have 3 speeds. Could be a bent shifter fork. Pull off the tranny top cover and take a look. If you have a repair manual it will be a huge benefit to you.
