The belt pulley gear box is mounted on top of the transmission, immediately behind the lift all fill pipe and just in front of the battery box under the fuel tank. It sounds like your tractor does not have the belt pulley, or someone removed it. Is there a cover plate over the transmission just in front of the battery?? Don't know what the pipe hanging out of the access plate hole under the tractor could be. Must be some kind of add on. Also the hole in the right side??? What size is it and exactly where located?? Yes, the lift all hangs down under the belly of the tractor. It's held up in there with 4 size 3/8 inch bolts.
