Thanks for the reply. Yes, there is a flat plate bolted just in front of the battery, on top of the transmission. There is no extra holes on the plate. That "extra" 1/2" pipe fitting comes out on the right side of the pump, at the bottom rear of the pump (5 o'clock postion)I see the 4 3/8" bolts holding the pump up in the belly of the MD. I have one more question. I talked to "Quality Farm and Country" the other day in Iowa about their catalog listing for a wide front end that fits the M. I asked if it would fit the MD and he said yes. However, the front end does not come with the hub and rims. My MD has one wheel on the front, not two, like yours. Is it easy to find hubs and rims for this wide front if I ordered it? I live in the mountains on the Central Coast of California so the wide front is important. BTW, I was in the mountains of NC(Blowing Rock,NC) this time last year. I was born and raised in NC(New Bern). Are you located near the NC/Tenn state line? Thanks again for the help, Brad Whitty
