I am looking at a Farmall M that is going up for auction here in a few days. The serial number is FBK 19443. I think that makes is a 1940? Does the K mean that it burns kerosene? I noticed the small gas tank that made me think it ran on something other than gas. The owner did not even know about this small tank and said he had always burned gas in it. How bad is that for an engine and how hard is it to convert from kero to gas? It also had an M&W hand clutch. The tin was straight but the paint was bad. How much do you guys think it is worth. Me and the tractor are both located in Western Virginia. The sale is coming up soon so I appreciate all the help I can get. I am trying for my first tractor here. Thanks! Jeff
