Situation: Relined the brakes on my "M", in a hurry (as usual). The left (brake wheel?) was heavily scored. Just bolted her back together. Right brake is good, the scored left brake very poor. When I get a chance (in the next 10 years or so) to tear into it again, what should I do? I assume that turning the (brake wheel?) will cause problems with the fit of the lining, should I try to buy another? Any and all ideas are welcome. B.T.W. this tractor is a worker. Had to have the brakes working fer turnin her nose around with all that steel in the ground. Thanks pete ....
