It started as a dead 43 A. I pulled a motor off of an IH 55 baler that had the magneto missing. I installed the motor, found a magneto ignition on a neighbors shelf. We have no idea what it came off of except that it was red in color. The tractor starts and runs but the exhaust gets red hot and has no power. I have moved the external adjustment on the maneto, moved the gears on the inside one tooth at a time, moved the position of the cap and tried the same procedure again. It will not start in any other position but then we are back to the same point in that there is no power. New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, starter, and paint as if that would help. What am I over looking...... Paul
