Jim, Are you referring to the square hole in the front of the thermostat housing? I thought thats what it was and was going to not cut the gasket so large in that port, but I didnt wanna fudge anything up and gasket material coming loose was a bit of a concern. Its all back together now, so I dunno.. BTW, is the fan supposed to be the same rpm all the time (considering you dont change the throttle), or should it be like the pre-electric cooling fans on cars with the temperature sensitive assembly, where it would spin faster as the engine got higher in temp, or is it a fixed fan blade? Now that I think about it, they are vastically overcooled by design. Did the 300u come stock with radiator shutters? There is none on mine. Thanks Guys.
