For what it's worth, starvation of oil at the rockers (cylinders #3 or #4) is why IH redesigned the draft tube setup on that engine.

And, I gotta tell ya, 55 lbs of oil pressure @ 1200 rpm would just absolutely scare the ba-geebies out of me because something is just not right. Heck, they normally idle hot at 75 lbs.

Is this a high-houred engine? It still just smacks of being wobbled out on the lower end.
