The front crank case seal on my H rebuild is causing me some mental activity. Looking at what I have, there were two seals in there. One of them felt. The kit people sent me a felt seal to go up there. I pusted, shoved and was gentle with it and still destroyed the holder getting it out. The seal had a number on it so I went to local seal shop and they cross indexed it to a seal that fits the hole but it is rubber and not felt. it is very narrow and there is room for two of these seals to replace the old thing. I was wondering out loud if it will be satisfactory for me to replace the felt seal up front with two rubber seals. Anyone have any experience with this? It seems to me that it shoud be ok. TW
