I am about to pull my hair out! I have just aquired a IH 2424, it runs good for a while but after i start puting a load on it and it gets warmed up it will shut down and not start again for about an hour, after it cools down it will start and run a while longer(aprox 20 min)then shut down again, when it shuts down it does so like turning the key off. when it shuts down it still has good spark. Fuel seems to be ok going to the carb but im not sure if it is going thru it, there is some kind of a electric float on the carb and i wonder if it is getting hot and shuting down the fuel? If anyone has any suggestions i could use to help trouble shoot this i am "all ears" Thanks, Seabee!
