RKS will know the answer when he gets on site. I don't think you can get a positive ground alternator that I know of. Just reverse your battery cables, reverse the wires on the coil and reverse the wires on the ampmeter gauge and you will be negative ground. The starter will crank fine. It doesn't affect the lights.
