Howdy everyone, My question stems from my tractor not wanting to run smoothly at idle, it is getting plenty of fuel, however, it runs with a slight miss at any engine speed when there is no load on the engine, when there is a load on the engine, it starts running great. When there is no load on the engine it seems to almost miss, when there is a load on the tractor, it doesn't miss a beat. I was wondering what the position of the magneto drive lugs need to be at example 10 O'clock and 4 O'clock, or 11 and 5 or 12 and 6??? I am wondering the position of the drive lugs when the motor is at TDC for #1 cylinder. I'm thinking the spark could be getting to the plug at the wrong time, just a guess, I'm trying everything. Also, I think I'm gonna put on a new manifold gasket, I really don't want to risk breaking some bolts, but I'm also wondering if it might be sucking some air somewhere. But, thanks for reading and replying as usual. I'm just about to float away here in SW Missouri. About 8" of rain the past week, creeks are headed down now though and nearly all roads are open again. Sincerely with thanks, Jared Jeffries

It was the only
