I've been reading this forum for awhile so I know there are some very knowlegeable people out there. I need some advice on my Cub. I just replaced the carburetor with a newZenith from IH. I was told that the settings were correct. I replaced the point and set them to.023, new plugs (.020) and wires. I know my hydraulic pump is weak an have replaced the o-ring on the front shaft but suspect it is still leaking fluid past the o-ring into the crankcase. At any rate, i was mowing fine (woods Bush hog)for about an 2 hrs and the tratcor just died. I started losing power when i started up the incline. It is overheating as radiator fluid started pitting from underneath the fan housing. I am by no means an expert but i really like this tractor and want it to work but am having a hard time finding reference reources that can help a novice like me. Any help?
