I have a 1941 Farmall A that starts without being choked and seems to run fine for around 20 - 30 minutes pulling a small disc. It then begins to sputter and eventually gets worse and will then die. I haven't determined if it is due to pulling the disc (load related). The temperature seems to be a little high to me, but I do not have a lot of experience with these old tractors. The only small sign of a possible problem is I saw the head gasket leaking just a tad bit of water once. I feel that it is fuel related. I haven't rebuilt the carburetor. It is my next project. Any thoughts?
