Super M vs. IH 234

Hey everybody. I am looking at a 234 IH picker that mounts on a Super M (I have a Super M). Because they made such mounts, I know it will operate it. Although, do a lose A LOT over other tractors? I mean, A LOT-A LOT? I hopefully will have a 234 on a 706D, too, but all I'm asking for is whether or not the Super M will satisfactorally (if that's a word and if I spelled it right) operate a 234. Satisfactorally would be running in 2nd gear all of the time. It wouldn't bog down any more than that and force me into first, would it? Thanks for the information.
