I have two problems on my 1955 Farmall 100 that I could use some advice on. First, can't keep a charge overnight. This is a 12V conversion, brand new battery, new switch, and a new alternator. Seems to charge OK, but bleeds away overnight. Where should I start looking for a fix? Who makes a near-original wiring harness? Should I start there? Second, just had the carb rebuilt (at the same time I had the new battery and alternator installed, by a dealer.) Now it pulses for the first 5-10 minutes or so after cold start, and only settles down into a smooth governed run once good and warm. Didn't do it before, and I really didin't believe it needed a carb rebuild. Even after warm up, it occasionally starts to pulse again, particularly if I apply a load to the hydraulics. And, to boot, carb leaks fuel like crazy after shutting off. Not happy about the job the dealer did (read that P-O'd,) but the 100 mile haul back to have him (maybe) set it straight makes me want to just fix this stuff myself from here on in. Any helpful comments appreciated.
