I have freed up the cylinders on the cub but have this problem: The motor sat for a long time prior to me getting it and water got into the cylinder and rusted it about half way down. (An aluminum can would have made the difference over the exhaust but some folks are just too lazy) It it pretty well pitted. Will an electric hone resurface it or does a sleeve need to be put in it? Can you buy oversize rings or a sleeve and a smaller piston? Can a shop resleeve it without breaking the motor down? The head is also pitted slightly between one of the valves and the cylinder. Does the head need to be resurfaced or can some type of repair epoxy hold it? I am an amateur as you can tell. Thanks for the help - any and all wil be appreciated.
