Jason even though fuel is getting to the carb, I wonder if the fuel pump is weak? If it runs well once started I doubt it is a manifold problem. When you are pulling it to start, you are probably cranking the engine faster then when you hand crank. That is why I think you have to troubleshoot the fuel pump.
