Just as a matter of interest, on the "Tractor Talk" board, I just posted a Farmall tractor/cutter rig that I once saw which I would consider the ultimate tractor/cutter for serious brush cutting. It was a IHC heavy duty Fast Hitch 72" or 84" rotary cutter mounted on a Farmall 400 or 450. The transmission was reversed and all of the controls had been reversed so the former rear of the tractor was the front and it operated with the heavy duty cutter out front. It was also equipped with a single front {now rear} wheel which gave it excellent manuverability. This rig could easily be duplicated with either a heavy duty 3 point cutter or a 3 point finish mower on any Farmall tractor from the H through the 560 (reversable transmission tops are easly found for these) or with a Hydrostatic drive Farmall which would not require reversing the transmission, just the controls. All of this is just food for thought or comment. Harold H
