FINISHED THE COMPLETE REBUILD ON MY A ENGINE WITH ABOUT 1,200.00 INVESTED, AND I CANT GET THE HEADGASKET TO SEAL. THE HEAD AND BLOCK WERE CHECKED AND OR MACHINED BY A MACHINE SHOP SO I FEEL SAFE IN ASSUMING THAT THE HEAD IS NOT WARPED OR THE BLOCK. THE FIRST TIME THE HEAD GASKET WAS LEAKING VERY SLIGHTLY EXTERNALLY, SO I RETORQUED IT AND TOOK THE TOURQUE UP TEN FT LBS TO 75. STILL LEAKING EXTERNALLY. TOOK THE TOURQUE UP ANOTHER 10 FT LBS, STILL LEAKING EXTERNALLY. DECIDED TO START ALL OVER AND ORDERED A NEW HEADGASKET, REPLACED THE GASKET AND USED PERMATEX SEALER THIS TIME. GOOD ! NOT LEAKING EXTERNALLY ANYMORE BUT NOW I AM GETTING WATER IN THE OIL !!. TOOK THE TOURQUE UP TO 75 AGAIN, CHANGED THE OIL , SAME PROBLEM, TOOK THE TOURQUE TO 85 FT LBS AND NOW ITS LEAKING INTERNALLY AND EXTERNALLY !! AND THE MOST DISAPOINTING PART IS THAT IT RUNS GREAT. JUST NEED TO KEEP THE WATER WERE IT BELONGS. BEFFFORE I GOT THE RADIATOR ON I HAD TO HEAR IT RUN SO I RAN IT FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES WITH NO WATER ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS ANY CHANCE I WARPED OR CRACKED SOMTHING ? ANY HINTS HELP SUGESTIONS OR WONDER SEALERS GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKS JONATHAN MIRGON
