I had problems with my original leaking fuel by to the carb when it was shut and got an aftermarket one and it leaked worse and also leaked all over the transmission. I finaly got sick of it and a couple days ago got a ball valve that has teflon seats and a nice big red handle and I put it on with an inline cleanable fuel filter off my race car. It works perfect and has a lot of bennefits. One it doesn't let water collect in the tank because it has no standpipe. two when I close it it is closed good. three no more leaks messing up my paint.
