Red: Have you just recently adjusted the pto clutch? What is the serial number of your tractor? The reason I ask this is there were apparently 3 different pto units for the 560, being the planetary and two different and separate chutch type pto units. One of the clutch type had to be removed from tractor for adjustment. I had never heard tell of this one until recently, and actually still not sure that it actually exists. The clutch type I am familiar with was adjusted truough the fill cap hole with a special tool you have to get from IH. My experience with this one is if you can't stop it from turning it is time for a rebuild. I did a lot of heavy work with my pto and thus found myself rebuilding it every 2-3 years. Now my 560 was also operating at 90+ hp which didn't help either. It also clocked 11,000 hours in 16 years, and probably 65% of that was on forage harvester or blower. You have to also remember these pto units in all the number series tractors of the late 1950s and early 60s were pioneering in live pto for IH. I had one of each series of Farmalls all the way from letter series to the 66 series. Live pto for IH came of age with the 06 series tractors.
