Yesterday I started up the H only to find that the clutch was stuck (frozen, would not release, pushing the pedal to no avail) This hasn't happenned before, at least not in the several years I've had it. I checked the linkage to make sure it wasn't something loose or broken, then tried a couple of things. First I tied the pedal down, put the tractor in fifth gear, and rocked it back and forth. The engine bumped but the clutch held on. Then I untied the pedal, climbed back on, put it in reverse, and hit the starter. One brief lurch, the engine fired up, and everything back to normal. So, eventually, a question. How do I keep it from happening again? I'm guessing that tieing the pedal down when I park it will, but I'd just as soon not add any more to the Shut Down/Start Up procedure. Thanks Wm
