I wouldn't joke around even trying the 300 on a round baler.........That would just cause more wear and tear than it is worth. We use our neighbors Gehl round baler(Silage Special) and IH 186 Hydro. If I was doing even a minor amount of round bales I would find a 826 Hydro...........They may cost more to repair but are built for the hay field! Our hills here will really push a tractor around on a round baler, I'd go bigger rather than smaller............A good 706 Diesel would be just the ticket if you don't like the Hydro idea.......... Oh, if you want a real 60 hp tractor......Get an M-TA(Grin ;-p)
