Come on now, damn baler and bale wouldn't weigh more than couple of ton. I've hauled many a 5 ton load of silage to my barn with 300 in 3rd gear. You guys just think you need big horse power, just because you like to use big horse power. Sure I'll go with the big tractor if I were going to bale 3000-5000 round bales. Kelly is talking a few hundred. The first year in my farming career I plowed a hundred acres I did it with a Farmall 130 and 2 bottom fast hitch plow, and made money.
