My 154 is giving me fits.As long as its cold, meaning engine hasnt been started,it will turn over fine most of the time. After it warms up,it will turn over very slowly,I could hand crank it faster if that were possible on these. Its so bad that I must wait about two hours for it to restart!I have replaced the starting wiring, from thew switch to solenoid, the solenoid itself and wiring from the starter/generator back to the solenoid and the battery cables.I have a new battery and had my local alt/starter shop check out the starter/generator which was fine except for some wore brushes which they replaced. They gave it a good cleaning and lubricating while they had it.I have set my timing right perfect.Like i said it starts fine cold most of the time, but on the rare occasions that it does turn over slow,a release of the key and then turning again will solve that.Im at my wits end!!!Any clues as to what to try next, other than a For Sale ad!!!!!!!!!
